"What is ...?"

"Star Wars" is a series of science fiction movies that are the work of the American director George Lucas.

Curiously, the series - there have now been 6 movies - began in 1977 with part IV "Star Wars", which was later retitled "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope". And this is the movie on which this LEGO Star Wars play set is based.

In the original trilogy of Episodes IV to VI (released between 1977 and 1983), Luke Skywalker grows up to become the new hope of the Jedi and releases his father from the Dark Side of Power.
